About Pawsitively Furever
Pawsitively Furever is a non-profit rescue that is foster-based, located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. We work with local owners and international rescue partners to help RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REHOME dogs in need to their FUREVER families. PF started by helping dogs within Ontario find suitable homes when their owners could no longer care for them! 17 dogs found their furever home and families in 2023. In 2024, Pawsitively Furever partnered with Slice of Paradise PR Rescue, to rescue, rehabilitate and bring dogs to Canada to find their Furever home.
It is estimated that there are over 600,000 homeless and stray dogs on the streets and beaches in Puerto Rico, and unfortunately there are no government programs for mass sterilization, pet registration and very little education on animal welfare in schools.
A Message from Executive Director & Founder
This rescue started as a "Passion Project" and has quite literally transformed into this amazing network of incredibly enthusiastic volunteers, who all share the goal of changing the lives of all the dogs we can. I never imagined my little rehoming group would turn into this beautiful organization. Every day I am blessed for all the connection that we get to make and the dog's lives we have the priviledge of saving, touching and changing for the better.
I want to thank all our followers, fosters and supporters. IT TRULY TAKES A VILLAGE! From working on the logistics of getting the dogs to fosters, organizing donation, working tirelessly to find potential adopters and screen them and plan events to raise money and awareness for rescues. Without the support of volunteers and the donations from the public, we would not be able to do what we do!
So THANK YOU!
