The Charlie’s Legacy Medical Bursary Program provides financial assistance to community members facing unexpected veterinary expenses. We understand that medical costs can become overwhelming, placing families in heartbreaking situations where surrender or euthanasia may feel like the only options.
Our goal is simple:
✅ Help keep pets in safe, loving homes
✅ Provide support during medical crisis
✅ Reduce unnecessary shelter intakes and euthanasia
By offering financial relief, we hope to give families the chance to pursue the care their animals need—without sacrificing the human-animal bond.
Who We Support
This program is intended for pet owners experiencing financial hardship whose animals require medical care beyond their means. Assistance may be available for urgent or unexpected veterinary needs.
Why It Matters
Every year, countless pets are surrendered or euthanized simply because their guardians cannot afford life-saving or necessary medical treatment. By stepping in when families need it most, we help keep animals where they belong—at home with the people who love them.
How It Works
Eligible applicants may receive a bursary that contributes toward their pet’s medical expenses. Funds are paid directly to partnering veterinary clinics to ensure transparent and immediate support.
